In the midst of a global pandemic, employees are facing unprecedented personal and professional challenges. Stress, anxiety, and distraction are the inevitable consequences. While it’s not your role to solve these problems for employees, there is much that you can do to manage in a way that fosters resilience and a mindset of peaceful productivity. In this program, you’ll learn how to:
- Invite the employee to make realistic work commitments
- Negotiate realistically on a short term basis for progress on tasks and projects
- Give constructive feedback while strengthening trust with your employees
- Create a culture of safety in the virtual workplace that helps to reduce anxiety and increase engagement
- Make appropriate referrals when employees describe problems that may indicate behavioral health concerns.
